Founder: Anna Sanchez, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, MPH-C

Anna Sanchez has proudly served in the US Air Force since 2012. As the founder of Hope Centers for Veterans, she brings over 37 years of experience in healthcare, specializing in psychiatric and mental health services. Her extensive background includes work in inpatient stabilization, substance abuse units, emergency psychiatry, community mental health, and outpatient clinics. 

Meet Anna Sanchez
Anna Sanchez is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner. She has dedicated her career to providing comprehensive mental health care across the lifespan, integrating her services to treat both adults and adolescents (ages 14-18).

Achievements:
- Military Nurse of the Year 2020** during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- 2023 Mary Jane Seacole Award** for Nurse of the Year.
- 2020 USAF Company Grade Nurse of the Year by the Air Force Reserve Command.
- Recognized by Maj General John Hickock, Brigadier General Craig McPike, and Col Juliana Olson for her outstanding contributions.

Holistic Approach
Anna's in-depth knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy allows her to provide a holistic approach to mental health care, addressing depression, anxiety, grief, PTSD, military sexual trauma, stress, relationship issues, and life transitions. She integrates health into the physical, mental, spiritual, and social aspects of life, ensuring a comprehensive treatment approach.

Military Service
As a Major in the United States Air Force Reserves with the 94 AW/ASTS at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Anna has a significant background in supporting the mental health of service members. She has served as a Sexual Assault Response Program Coordinator (SARC) and has revamped the SAPR Program, introducing various therapeutic methods like Equine Therapy, Horticultural, Recreational, Pet, and Art Therapy.

Advocacy and Education
For the past 12 years, Anna has focused on resilience, suicide prevention, and substance abuse prevention programs. She has been a key speaker at the Yellow Ribbon Program, educating pre and post-deployers. As a certified Master Resiliency Trainer and D-SAACP certified professional, she is a staunch advocate for women’s empowerment in the military.

Community Involvement
Anna also served as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Brenau University and Kennesaw State University. She continues to volunteer and collaborate with local veteran groups to improve the mental health outcomes of military service members.
